Whether you’re interested in running for an elected position or being appointed to a role, our training materials will help you understand the structure of the SGA and the responsibilities of each position.

Training resources for students interested in SGA positions for Fall 2025 will be available after midterm break. These resources are designed to provide a comprehensive overview of SGA operations and equip you with the knowledge and skills needed to succeed as a student leader.

Mandatory SGA Training Meetings – First Week of Classes

The following mandatory training meetings have been scheduled for select groups within the SGA. Attendance is required for all designated members. If a meeting conflicts with a class, please notify the SGA Faculty Advisor, and the SGA President ([email protected]) immediately.

  1. Training for the Justices

    • Date: Tuesday, January 14
    • Time: 4:00 PM
    • Location: R21

  2. Day 1 Training for Legislative Branch (Senators, Legislative Committees, and Advocacy Department)

    • Date: Wednesday, January 15
    • Time: 4:00 PM
    • Location: R21

  3. Day 2 Training for Legislative Branch 

    • Date: Thursday, January 16
    • Time: 4:00 PM
    • Location: R03
